Something Happened
I have no words. ..... Still I have no words of what happened.
So I decided to use the language of art and abstraction. And that was the beginning of this very personal series. And the start of a transformation: the images in my head link up with the paintings and are slowly replaced. I like the paintings. Art helps and shows new perspectives.
And after a while swapping monochrome for color is a new step.

Flowers In Mind
There is no certainty. But the idea, that she had flowers in her mind, makes it more bearable.

Possibilities
Geometric shapes offer a wealth of possibilities, which also led to the title “Possibilities”. This series is like a flow chart of possibilities; inspired by Mondrian and “De Stijl”. In contrast to De Stijl's art theory, which only accepts vertical/horizontal, large/small, light/dark and the basic colors, I also use bevels and curves in order to be able to use the basic geometric forms of triangles and circles. I think this creates more tension in the drawings and - in keeping with the title - there are more design options available. The geometric structure stands detached and free in the room; in addition to black and paper white, I have chosen two other colors as an expression of a duality that we encounter in many aspects of life.
